Burmese Kats
We are waiting for news of a Burmese litter being born in Ireland as we have 2 booked to increase and improve our burmese breeding stock when they are old enough. Updates to follow in due course.
Cat Shows
You can see me at the Nor' East Show held in Caird Hall Dundee on 9th May 2009 and from there will be attending most, if not all of the Scottish Shows throughout the rest of the year. Details can be obtained from GCCF website.
Dog Training
I am also a trained dog handler having been taught firstly at Dog Training Classes in Glasgow which piqued my interest and enjoyment of obedience training and empowered me to attend training with Fred Hamilton Crufts Obedience Champion Owner and Trainer.
I ran Dog Training classes in Inverness and Nairn over a period of 7 years and also started classes in Alness in 1990, which due to a move to Aberdeen was cut short.
Since then I have been involved with the retraining and rescue of abused dogs with some measure of success.
I take clients who need their dogs trained and to start, work with the dogs myself and then once I have assessed the dogs needs, I work with the owners to correct problem obedience behaviour.
I have specialised in German Shepherd dogs as they are my first love in dogs and I have a special affinity with this breed, having bred them for several years prior to buying my first Siamese shortly before moving to Aberdeenshire.
I ask clients to come to my home where I have a fully enclosed area where I can safely assess a dogs problems.
Currently I am not looking to handle aggressive dogs as I am still working to add this to my portfolio, but I believe I can train MOST dogs to walk to heel within 1 hour, without using any cruelty which I abhor.
